1st HYPER AI Webinar: Revolutionising big data processing applications with self-managing cloud-to-edge resources
On the 11th December, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, we launched the HYPER-AI Webinar Series. This first webinar offered a detailed introduction to the Horizon Europe HYPER-AI project, which focuses on “Revolutionising big data processing applications with self-managing cloud-to-edge resources”.
In this webinar, we covered the project's main goals in developing a hyper-distributed platform for resource management, and how this platform would lead towards enhanced data processing across Cloud, Edge, and IoT environments.
Crucially, we discussed some of the concepts at the heart of the HYPER-AI architecture: Computing Swarms and self-CHOP (self-configuration, healing, optimisation, and protection) principles.
Last but not least, we provided an overview of the methodologies and technologies that we will apply in order to meet these objectives.
This session served as an introduction to the HYPER-AI project, and explain how we intend to meet key milestones. As the first in a series of webinars, future sessions covered the progress and achievements of the HYPER-AI project in more detail.
This is an interesting opportunity to understand the project’s goals and the steps we took to deliver them.
