HYPER-AI to join “Cognitive Computing Continuum” Special Session at ICE IEEE/ITMC 2025 in Valencia
We’re pleased to share that HYPER-AI will participate in the 31st edition of the ICE IEEE/ITMC conference, taking place from 16 to 19 June 2025 in Valencia, Spain. Representing the project at the event will be Thanasis Moustakas (Centre for Research & Technology Hellas - CERTH) and Mohammed Elbamby (Telefónica).
This year’s conference, hosted by the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS), will offer a deep dive into the future of digital transformation, engineering innovation, and technology management. Attendees can expect a dynamic programme of expert panels, hands-on workshops, and high-level networking sessions.
Spotlight on HYPER-AI at Special Session SS14
HYPER-AI will feature in Special Session SS14: Cognitive Computing Continuum, held on Monday 16 June from 15:00 to 18:00, in Room 2.13 of the Nexus Building at the Vera Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
The session will bring together several leading EU-funded projects, including ENACT, EMPYREAN, SWARMCHESTRATE, MYRTUS, COGNETS, and HYPER-AI. It will feature project presentations and a concluding open panel discussion designed to spark collaboration, explore synergies, and identify pathways for future cooperation on research and innovation.
Why it matters for HYPER-AI
Participation in this session under the CL4-2023-DATA-01-04 call positions HYPER-AI at the forefront of Europe’s push toward a cognitive computing continuum. By showcasing the project’s approach to autonomous “smart nodes” operating across the cloud, edge, and IoT, the session will be a launchpad for stronger connections across sectors and disciplines.
What’s in it for our stakeholders?
- Industrial partners in manufacturing, automotive, energy, agriculture, and healthcare can explore opportunities for applying HYPER-AI’s technologies in real-world settings;
- Innovation leaders will discover insights on hyper-distributed, AI-driven platforms;
- Researchers and academics will gain exposure to HYPER-AI’s self-organising computing methodologies;
- Policy and EU representatives will see how the project aligns with strategic objectives for European digital leadership;
- Societal stakeholders will explore HYPER-AI’s applications in areas such as disease diagnosis and precision agriculture.
